We are committed to providing a specialist travel health service to our clients to ensure that they receive the best possible advice and care for their individual needs. We are open 9am- 5pm Monday - Thursday.
All the staff are experienced in travel health medicine and each client receives a comprehensive travel health risk assessment to ensure they receive the appropriate advice taking into account their pre-existing medical conditions and their particular travel plans. There is also a new travel shop at the clinic which stocks a wide range of accessories vital for travellers such as medical kits, mosquito nets, body pouches, water filtration bottles and many more. With the current global outbreak of the Zika Virus and the ever prominent Dengue Fever and Malaria, the clinic also stocks a selection of anti-mosquito products and repellents. We think it is very important that travellers are aware on how vital mosquito protection is and are able to advise which product is most suitable for their trip.
The clinic also offers Occupational Vaccination programmes for staff that are potentially exposed to contaminants in the course of their work. We are also able to arrange a number of private blood tests on request which may be particularly useful for those preparing to work in the healthcare profession or other similar occupations.
We also offer non-travel vaccinations such as Chicken Pox, MMR, Shingles and Meningitis B for those who fall outside of the criteria to receive it on the national schedule.
The travel clinic also stocks a number of 'over the counter' pharmaceutical products including Cold & Flu remedies, fluid replacement & diarrhoea treatment, and a range of pain relievers - all things that might get you through the day!
