Did you know?
As well as all the incredible businesses we have on our Evegate and Wembdon sites, we have a few fabulous extras available, that we know are a hit with our visitors and locals!
Country Walks
We maintain a trail for walkers and dog walkers, it is approximately 2.5k and boarders our stunning captured countryside. The circuit passes Park Wood where Step Out host their Forest School activities, around and down to Wide Eyes’ fantastic set up, then back up towards Evegate via the private fishing lake, which is then the perfect time to grab a well earned refreshment from the onsite Micro-pub or Delicatessen/Coffee Shop.
EV Charging
As part of Evegate’s Green mission, we have introduced our first four Electric Vehicle charging points! They are located on the left as you enter our main car park under the trees, (adjacent to Fancy Paws)
Visitor charging at 57p/kw with 22kw charges and type 2 cables. Credit LP Electrical.

Logs
Hard wood Ash logs from our very own Park Wood now available! They are seasoned and split and perfectly dried in our specially designed container and then stocked in our new wooden cabin. We aim for a 15- 20% moisture to allow for a quality burn. Autumn prices (September – November) are £140 for a pallet cage of logs (40% more logs than a bulk bag), we also offer local delivery and quote accordingly.
To inquire / order, please email molly@evegate.co.uk who will arrange your delivery fast!
Solar
Another of our Green mission incentives. We already have 110kw of solar on site, that works hard to provide 25% of our day to day usage and are planning for additional Solar in the future to contribute to the energy for Wembdon and our expanding Evegate site. Our future trajectory is looking more and more green, which we are very proud of.
Recycling
Our tenants get to use our on site recycling facilities. By using local firms (Trident Waste) we help to prevent excessive millage from collection vehicles and continue to support our community businesses. Just last year we introduced what we informally know as “The Cardboard Crushing Club.” For every tonne collected, Bank Farm in Aldington plant a Paulownia tree! From there each tree will sequester over half a tonne of CO2 in each crop cycle (a cycle being 10 years when it is harvested for manufacturing) and each tree will be harvested at least 4 times, sequestering in excess of 2 tonnes in its life. Bank Farm also have a fantastic Egg Machine which is an automated farm shop! See their site for full details, we love it.
Book Library
We adore our little Housed book collection – you will find this in our repurposed Red Phone Box in the square by the Gazebo. Nothing quite like the feel of the pages as your flick through an exciting read that you cannot put down. So please feel free to take and deposit books here to continue that great read feeling.
